18.00-18.30: Arrival.
18.30-18.35: Welcome speech by Despina Bakirtzi.
18.35-18.50: www.fashionarchitect.blogspot.com A young girl, Penelope Kapnoula, will tell us how she combined blogging with her big love – fashion – and how she managed, through her blog, to become a professional fashion editor.
18.50-19.30: A famous, international and multi-talented internet personality – will be the main guest of the 9th Girl Geek Dinner. Irish Paul Walsh, well-known for over 15 years for his role in the success of various start-ups, both in Europe and Asia, is coming to Athens to talk about his career, from AOL to today, and to share with the GGD audience his experience, that led him either to successful or unsuccessful choices in his career.
Vodafone, O2, Orange, CMG and ADC Metrica are just a few of the companies he has successfully worked for, before founding Segala, one of the most well-known companies in content classification & Web standards compliance certification. Moreover, he is the organizer of one of the most famous networking events, in London - Open Soho; its tickets are sold out within a few hours!
Paul is also an advisor to the British Council, Quick.tv, Newspepper and 3 Dynamics, while he is also a consultant to companies with a global presence in the proper ways o use Web 2.0 technologies in order to improve consumer engagement. His most recent project is Wubud – a mobile social networking application.
From 2006 to 2008, he was the Chair of the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA), aiming at supporting creativity in digital technology. Finally, he is the co-owner of Jaipur, a group of award winning, Michelin-rated restaurants in Dublin.

19.30-19.40: Ten Minutes Pitching: Vicki Kolovou (www.netwire.gr) will talk about the proper use of Internet, in order to achieve a successful presence and promotion of your professional profile.
19.40-20.30: Dinner, Drinks and… networking!

Mainly women, but men as well (preferably accompanied by a woman), up to 100 participants
Fee: Free of charge
Dress code: be yourself :-)
Goal:
Women's networking and update on new technologies, innovations, the Internet as well as the spreading of new and fresh ideas and visions!
